We are pleased to announce we are having April Build Night on Tech Tuesday for the month of April. This means, rather than the traditional format of ‘What have you been working on lately’ and ‘Hacker assist’ we will be having a build night each Tuesday this month. At the end of the event, you will have made/hacked something to take home with you and show off to your friends, colleagues, pets, and family. Check out our Calendar below!
We will also briefly discuss Hackerspace business, share stories about cool hacks, and just shoot the breeze. This a great time for first time visitors to check out the space and learn more about the organization.
April 5th: We will be making learn to solder badges, bristle bots, and discussing an upcoming project – ‘Make your own Oscilloscope for under $25’
April 12th: We will be building a sandblaster and using the new vinyl cutter to engrave personalized glasses and mugs.
April 19th: We will set up our 3D printers for beginners to learn and collaborate on a team build contest.
April 26th: We will have three projects set up for this evening –
First we will have a group of people to work on the repair and set up of our vacuum former.
Second we will have a group of people to learn to our the CNC machine in our hardspace
Third we will have a group of people learning to use our blue 40 watt laser.
